Joined High Point: 2008

Larry believes in helping players enjoy the sport of tennis at whatever level they may choose. That may be at a social/recreational level or a very high competitive level.

He is also a great example of 'the best is yet to come!' While he played tennis in high school, Larry did not take a tennis lesson until the age of 30. Until then, Basketball was his sport of choice. He now plays TCD Mixed Doubles and USTA men's doubles at the 4.0 and 4.5 level.

His teaching experience began when he assisted with the Junior tennis program at Fretz Tennis Center from 1991-2001. He then taught for a summer at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in 1994. Larry is certified by USPTA and PTR.

At High Point, he teaches Pee Wees up to adults, primarily at the beginner and advanced beginner levels. His enthusiasm is derived from seeing people enjoying the learning process in a sport that can last a lifetime.
Prior to teaching tennis fulltime, Larry was a Certified Public Accountant for Methodist Health Systems in downtown Dallas. He and his wife Kerry have a daughter, Haley in college.
