Qualifications for "Resident" rates

Your primary residence must be in Plano to qualify for "Resident" rates on court fees and annual passes. Even if your kids attend PISD schools, you are considered a "Non-Resident" if you live in another city. Owning rental property or a business in Plano does not qualify!

History — In the late 1960's the City began its recreation programs through a cooperative agreement with PISD and most of the programs were held in PISD facilities. Therefore the resident rate was extended to non-resident PISD households. Today all facilities are owned and operated by the City of Plano with no financial support from PISD.
