We may be virtual in 2020, but the outcomes of your support are real!
For 30 years, the Red Balloon Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament has brought together youth tennis players, community supporters and grateful patient families to raise monies to impact pediatric cancer research and programs at Children’s Health.
Unfortunately, current health considerations surrounding COVID-19 make it impossible to deliver a high-quality tennis tournament experience while guaranteeing the safety of our youth tennis players, volunteers and staff. We are left with no responsible choice but to re-imagine the 2020 Red Balloon Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament as a virtual fundraising event.
Bid now in the Children’s Health online auction benefiting pediatric cancer research!
The auction will run through 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 30 with unique experiences like a behind the scenes tour and grounds experience at the 2021 Ryder Cup, a VIP Experience to attend the Grand Opening of Eataly at NorthPark Center along with a $500 gift card, and of course gift certificates to your favorite local restaurants and stores! $30 for 30 Years Campaign
The Sumrow Family founded the Red Balloon Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament in honor of their son Clint, who was successfully treated for cancer at Children’s Health more than 30 years ago, Since then, more than 7,000 patients have been treated and $3.4 million raised through the tournament and for pediatric cancer programs.
Help us honor those patients by making a Commemorative Gift of $30 for childhood cancer awareness month this September.
