RULES, REGULATIONS, AND ETIQUETTE
To ensure a positive experience for all of our patrons, we ask that you familiarize yourself with our rules, regulations, and etiquette guidelines. These policies help to maintain a respectful, safe, and enjoyable environment on and off the courts. Please take a moment to review them before your next visit.
ENTERING THE FACILITY
All players must have a Plano Parks & Recreation account established and check in at the Pro Shop prior to accessing any courts. Please enter using the front door, which faces W. Spring Creek Parkway.
FACILITY DRESS CODE
Closed-toe athletic shoes, proper athletic attire (shorts or skirts), and shirts are required to play tennis and pickleball. Flip flops and sandals are prohibited.
ITEMS PROHIBITED ON THE COURTS
Personal ball machines
Bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards
Foul language, disruptive behavior
Alcohol
Chairs, tables, strollers
Music of any kind
TENNIS & PICKLEBALL RULES AND ETIQUETTE
High Point Tennis Center employees and patrons are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect in all interactions.
Players must adhere to their reservation time and not enter the court early or exit late. If additional time is needed, see front desk staff.
Do not walk on a court behind an active game or lesson.
Children age 5 & up are only allowed on courts when they are participating in a program or playing tennis or pickleball.
Spectators are not allowed on courts. Bleachers and a covered patio area are available for viewing.
Net standards on Pickleball/Quick Start courts must not be moved by players. Portable nets on dual usage courts 7-10 may be moved as needed.
Only High Point Professionals are permitted to teach lessons, organize, and promote events.

The City of Plano Parks and Recreation Department expects recreation center employees and patrons to treat one another with courtesy and respect in all interactions. These values are key to supporting our mission of enriching Plano by providing inviting spaces, caring services, outstanding value, and memorable experiences.
We expect all employees and patrons to:
- Respect other participants, City staff, and volunteers
- Cooperate with City staff in maintaining safety and order
- Demonstrate courtesy even when others do not
- Behave in a responsible manner, always exercising self-discipline
- Respect the property of others, including City property and facilities
Refrain from:
- Any behavior that would endanger the health, safety, or well-being of others
- Unacceptable behavior to include, but not limited to: profanity, vulgarity, racial slurs, obscene gestures, arguing, or other disruptive conduct, or encouraging others to do so
- Fighting, physical abuse, threats, or harassment
