Lisa, as so many pickleball enthusiasts, got her start in tennis. For her, it kicked into high gear at age 19 when she got involved playing in USTA singles and doubles events.
Fast forward through 20+ years of playing tennis! In 2013, a retired neighbor introduced Lisa to pickleball. That’s when the obsession began. She bought a paddle that same day! Lisa played in her first pickleball tournament in 2015 and continues to enjoy competing in venues around the country and meeting new people.
Her love of teaching started in 2018 and she completed her IPTPA certification in 2021.
Lisa teaches High Point’s group pickleball classes from Beginner up through the Learn N Play (for advanced students), and is available for private lessons as well.
“I love everything about this sport from the friendly social atmosphere to the fun and diverse competition. There are not a lot of sports where you can play with or against people 30 years younger than you OR 30 years older than you! I have so much fun playing pickleball and have met the most amazing people on the court. I love teaching and spreading the pickleball love because I think everyone should have this much fun!”
