Pickleball Instructor

Pam started playing pickleball three years ago and her enjoyment of the game turned into instructor certification. She created the two-hour “Intro to Pickleball” Clinic and has taught over 150 clinics and 1000+ students. Her focus is working with true beginners, introducing them to the recreational benefits of the game.

Pam has a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Penn State, and a Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. She worked in the hotel industry as a training manager.

She returned to Pennsylvania and went to work for Penn State. There, she was marketing manager for the campus health service & training manager for the two campus hotels.

In her viewpoint, “teaching pickleball gives me the ability to combine my training background with my enthusiasm for this very beginner-friendly sport. It’s a terrific way to meet, interact, and encourage others to try something new!”

Both retired (semi for Pam!), she and her husband love cruising and have a mission to hike in every U.S. national park – ideally with their dog Oliver in tow.
