Associate Tennis Professional
Tommy is active as both a tennis player and coach. Born in Hong Kong, he won several junior tournaments by the age of 14. Upon moving to the United States, he joined the team at Montwood High School in his family’s new home of El Paso. Tommy went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at El Paso.
He currently holds an USTA rating of 4.0 and plays on a doubles team out of Brookhaven.
Tommy works with High Point’s Future Stars, Competitive, Pre Junior Development and Pee Wee Programs. The PeeWee Program is for High Point’s youngest players (ages 5-7) and is based on the QuickStart concept. He has been on staff since 2008. In addition to teaching classes, Tommy also provides private lessons to players ages 5 to adult.
